The official amendment regulations, and the updates to the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations, have been published on the Legislation website (www.legislation.govt.nz). The amendment regulations were also notified in the New Zealand Gazette (www.gazette.govt.nz) on Thursday 30 November 2017.

New DGC Pricing

The introduction of the HSWA Hazardous Substance Regulations has added increased responsibility and accountability for all, including Compliance Certifiers.

The time around:- auditing, administration, registration and notification has increased substantially, just to sustain our regulatory requirements under the new regime.

As a result, DGC has adjusted pricing to reflect this additional complexity. Something that hasn’t occurred in the last seven years. Compliance is now part of an unavoidable regulatory necessity, which in most cases will be a nominal one-off annual cost, much like insurance.

This year, clients will see a nominal increase over last year, however DGC’s price adjustment, still sits favourably when compared with the market. We are confident they are fair. Details on our pricing can be obtained on request, or discussed when we next visit.
